I get a lot of ladies that are excited to do a boudoir session, but are also a bit nervous or hesitant at first. Agreeing to doing one of these intimate sessions can be a big hurdle for many. It can take awhile for most to feel comfortable enough in their skin while wearing next to nothing. For instance, the gorgeous Miss S emailed me to say she wanted to do something to celebrate her hubby’s upcoming birthday and their 9-year anniversary. But she said she felt a little out of her element with these type of photos – insisting that she wasn’t “naturally sexy” and could be awkward to photograph. Non-sense, I responded! Very few of us have that innate ability to pose like a Victoria’s Secret model in our lingerie without a little bit of direction. But that’s what I’m there for. 😉 With some careful planning of outfits, learning about my gals’ fortes and insecurities are with their physique, we will work with that and will make you look like a vixen! She also let me know that she wasn’t interested in the very “glam” boudoir images out there, but wanted her photos to have more of a sexy noir feel to them. Perfect…right up my alley!
