Tell me about your journey to doing a boudoir session. (Ie, What were your reasons for doing one? Have you wanted to do a session for some time? Or was this decision impulsive?)
I have struggled with self-image and confidence issues my entire life. I came across Tami’s model call on Instagram and figured, why not?
What was the tipping point in you finally deciding to do a session?
I want to love myself for once.
Why did you choose me as your photographer for your boudoir session?
The opportunity presented itself and after browsing your IG page for a minute I had a good vibe from you.
How did you feel in the days leading up to your shoot?
I was nervous as F! LOL
How would you describe the actual session experience? Did you have nerves? How did it feel to be in front of the camera?
I was nervous at first because it was all very new to me. I was never a girly girl growing up so full makeup was intimidating. I have hated being in front of the camera my whole life but Tami made me feel so comfortable that I was actually sad when my time was up. I wanted to keep going!
How did you feel after the shoot? And then when you saw your photos for the first time?
I felt full of myself, I’m not even gonna pretend I didn’t, LOL. When I saw my photos at the reveal I couldn’t keep my jaw off the floor. I kept asking “ THATS ME?!”
Did your boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
Yes it did. Even when I notice something I don’t love (like my nose) I remind myself that I’m still a babe!
What would you tell someone who is still on the fence about having a session done with me?
Any final thoughts you’d like to share?
I can’t thank Tami enough for choosing me to do the shoot. I am forever grateful for the love of myself that she helped me discover.
