Whenever one of my Tampa FL boudoir babes books her session, I email her a questionnaire to learn more about her. One of the most important questions I ask in it is:
“What does this boudoir session mean to you and what are all of your reasons behind doing one?”
It always helps to give me insight into the most important element of her session…her WHY. I need to know why a session is so important to you because I want to make sure that you are getting everything and exactly what you need. My goal is always to have you leaving a session feeling exhilarated and wondering why you didn’t do a session sooner because it was the best thing you’ve done for yourself in a long while. When I asked this question to the lovely Miss M, her response was
I’ve wanted to do a boudoir session for years! A year ago I would have felt much more comfortable in my own skin (weight wise-ugh, I know ridiculous) but I want to embrace the me now. I want to do this for myself and for my husband. I want to feel empowered and think, “Dang, I did that!”
A strong “why” like this is one that always gets me so freakin’ pumped to do the session. A boudoir shoot with me may result in a lot of gorgeous + sexy images, but I think one of the biggest results most of my clients experience from their session is that feeling of empowerment and feeling hella’ good in their own skin. You have to step into the experience realizing you may not be 100% “ready” for this session, but it’s when you step outside of your comfort zone and do something that’s a bit scary, that’s when you find the most reward!
