I love it when I get the text or email, “I want to shoot more boudoir photography with you.” It makes me smile knowing that my ladies leave their sessions feeling empowered and beautiful, so much so they want to have another opportunity at it. Maybe this time she has a little more confidence and wants to do some tasteful nudes. Or she’s been working hard with her fitness and wants to show off how the curves of her body are changing for the better. Or maybe she just wants to treat herself to another afternoon of just getting to embrace “Her” instead of putting all her efforts and energy every other direction.
With the lovely Miss T, we did a boudoir session for her a few years ago. We’d met while she was a bridesmaid in one of my former bride’s weddings and she wanted to treat her then boyfriend to some sexy images. She was a little shy and timid that time around, but we still got some beautiful images. This time around, she’d gone through a rough few months, but had also been working her butt off with getting herself in shape to help boost her out of the darkness that had been her life recently. She decided she want to show off her hard work with an intimate session and this time around it was all for her. We decided to make things a little moodier with this shoot. I love that she opened up and was willing to share a sultry side to her. She brought along some absolutely stunning lingerie and she rocked it with some tantalizing shots.
