A boudoir session in your fifties? Heck yes!
Age is just a number! And just like a good fine wine (or Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, or George Clooney), we all just get better with time. “But I have wrinkles, Tami!” or “The girls are definitely far from their perky state they were in my 20s!” These are the things I sometimes hear when I suggest a boudoir session to all the stunning & gorgeous women I know that may consider themselves “Mature”. But I say, just stop it, you gorgeous woman! Just because you aren’t in the same shape you were in your youth, doesn’t mean you don’t exude utter sexiness or that you don’t deserve a boudoir session for yourself. Those are all lies you tell yourself. You ARE amazing. You’ve most likely birthed beautiful babies. Have probably worn the pants in the household more times than you can count. You’ve made a name and life for yourself. And you are pretty fucking fabulous. YOU, of all people, deserve some time to treat yourself right. Kick off your shoes and enjoy a little pampering with a boudoir session. And bring back that glamorous babe you may have forgotten still existed. 😉
The session below is one that I did with the amazing beauty – Miss K. She turned 51 last September and she said she was feeling more confident in her body than she had ever had at any time in her life. But she also said, “I also have times when I’m taken aback and don’t truly believe compliments that are given to me.” She wanted to do this session in hopes of seeing in the images what she sometimes misses just looking in the mirror every day. Well, I’m pretty sure she got what she was looking for as she was ecstatic with the results and I know that her partner that she shared them with loved them just as much as she did. Below are a few favorites of Miss K’s that she is allowing me to share from her session. Enjoy!
