Being confident in your own skin. It’s what many of us want but few have been able to truly attain.
We live in a world where it seems like it’s not okay to be self-assured and that we constantly need to be better. That we need to change ourselves to improve. I’d say a majority of the women that I work with will come into these intimate sessions in hopes of a boost of confidence. They want to feel better about themselves. To be reaffirmed that they are as amazing as everyone tells them they are (and I will admit that I too am amongst those that seeks affirmation in my worth, abilities and looks.) But every once in a while I will get a client who walks into her session that just exudes a confidence that is enviable and I know it’s going to be a good session! One of those clients was the lovely Miss C. She’s far from the cocky that you might generally envision when you think a “confident women”. (And why do we tend to have this connotation??) But Miss C exuded nothing but joy and laughter and silliness during her session and it was contagious! It was almost like this internal conversation where we end up continually rooting for each other and watching each other grow as the session evolved. I think when we learn to stop putting ourselves and each other down, we embrace self-acceptance and beautiful things are created. Included are these images from this session. I’m definitely proud of this session, and she should be too. Also included in feeling proud for making this a rocking session is the lovely Alex of Bella Ti Artistry for helping this babe be even more babealicious!
