When it comes to booking a boudoir shoot, it’s not just about embracing the skin you are in, but also embracing a healthier mindset for yourself.
As women, we tend to be our own worst critics. We beat ourselves up for not being tall enough, lean enough, curvy enough, pretty enough, etc…all the “not enoughs”. But while many may think they have to “fix” these issues before they can book a boudoir shoot what if I told you that creating that mindset ahead of time will make the experience all that much more amazing as you reinforce how worthy you are both inside and out! Miss E stated it perfectly when she gave her reason for booking her shoot. She said:
This session is an opportunity to celebrate my mind and body. I feel like the past year I’ve really grown as a person and am diving into long time dreams and reaching goals. Its such an awesome feeling and I want my photos to reflect that self love.
How amazing is that?! It’s so important to celebrate what you have and how you’ve grown. Because when you go into your session with that kind of mindset, your experience will likely blow your own damn mind! This is a second boudoir session for Miss E with me, and I was there for it! She knocked her session out of the ballpark! And when I get an out of the blue DM from her months later telling me, “I love my boudoir photos more and more each day”, you know it’s an experience that will keep you reaching new heights of appreciation + love for how worthy you are of getting everything you dream of in your life.
