Self Love: It costs nothing, but you gain everything.
I think so many of us women are afraid to love ourselves. We feel guilty. We feel like we need to put our love out there towards our children; Towards our significant others. Towards everyone else because we want them to feel appreciated. But then we forget about ourselves. We forget that we need love too. Just because you look in the mirror one day and think to yourself, “Damn girl! Your boobs look smoking hot in this top!” – doesn’t mean that you are being self-righteous or that you are trying to throw your tits out there in men’s faces for attention. MAYBE YOU JUST WANT TO FEEL HAPPY AND GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF IN YOUR SKIN. And you know what? There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. You SHOULD look and feel good for nobody but yourself. I think that is why I love doing these boudoir sessions so.damn.much. So many women come to me a bit timid to even do the session or are super shy at first about getting pretty much naked in front of a camera. But then they ALWAYS (always, always), end their sessions giddy as can be and so excited to see their resulting images. I adore that I can help women remember to love themselves too.
With this session with the lovely Miss S, I could tell she was super shy. (Well, she actually kept bashfully admitting this to me throughout the entire session…haha). She was nervous about doing these, but knew it was an empowering experience that she needed and wanted to do for herself and ladies and gents – she did the damn thing and nailed it! Even at her reveal, I could still see her shyness – hiding behind her hands as she would explain with each passing image, “Is that really me?! Wow!” But you know what? She gave me permission to share all her images with you guys and I think that speaks volumes to what this session did for her. And I can only hope to continue being able to do this for so many more women. So with that, here are a few of my favorites from this sexy boudoir session!
