Liz reached out to me a few months back about getting some new branding photos as she had recently gotten her real estate license here in St Petersburg, Florida.
When I chatted with Liz on her initial discovery call, we immediately hit it off and I knew it was going to be such a pleasure to work with her. But she took a little time to think about it because it was a decent investment for her. With her just getting started in the business, she wasn’t bringing in those big home closing deals quite yet. But then she realized that is EXACTLY why she needed a session! So she could start off her real estate career with a bang! She also told me that “I looked into other photographers in the area and while there is a huge talent pool, none of them offered the level of depth and branding assistance that you offer.” So she was in + ready to start planning her branding portrait session!
When it comes to branding sessions with me, these aren’t just your average “headshot” session. While headshot sessions may give you some amazing photos, these sessions give you so much more and will help you discover your personal brand so you can differentiate yourself from the crowd. Together, we will plan an unforgettable photoshoot, complete with professional hair and makeup, styling, creative direction, and planning that will result in photos that are perfect for your website, brand collateral, social media, and more.
For Liz, we wanted to capture the warm + joyful, yet strong essence that she has to offer as a real estate agent in the Saint Petersburg, Florida area. We wanted to show off her ability to connect + relate to her ideal clientele – all the young, artistic creatives that are first-time homeowners in the area. We chose warm, yet colorful tones for her shoot that played into the “Old Florida” vibe, and made sure to incorporate them into her attire + the locations we found to shoot at.
We chose a few different scenes around St Pete for her session – first in her own home relaxing with her favorite pup, then we headed to her favorite local coffee shop – Paradeco Coffee Roasters. After that, we headed around the corner to Baccus Wine Bistro and finished up around Central Avenue – where we included some of the many murals as backdrops to show off her love for the local artistry in this Sunshine city.
Since her session, I have loved following along with Liz on her Instagram and seeing how she’s been incorporating her photos into her feed to showcase her personality and establish her personal brand as a real estate agent. It was an amazing experience for us both. Liz even had to say:

I couldn’t have asked for more. But she offers MORE. Beyond that, she arranged for Hair and Makeup for me, we consulted on outfits and shoot locations, and poses. She even put a couple photos together from the shoot ahead of schedule so I could get my business cards orders. She is truly an amazing person, and it’s reflected in her work. For the first time in my life, someone took professional photos of me that look and feel like me, and I see my genuine self come through.”
