Sometimes a special themed boudoir shoot is how we roll with sessions. This particular experience was a fun outdoor pool-themed photography session after a particular scene from a famous classic movie – Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
If you aren’t familiar with this scene, It’s where Phoebe Cates gets out of a pool in a sexy red bikini as she slowly takes her top off for an awkward boy that is watching from the distance. This scene was my client’s husband’s all-time fave and she knew it would just knock his socks off to see her recreating that same movie scene. And thankfully we live in sunny Tampa, Florida where pools are abundant, so we HAD to make this happen! He’s also a big Star Wars fan, so we incorporated some sexy images into her boudoir photoshoot, with her wearing his shirt. We started out with dry + more clothed options to start and finished wet in the pool for the grand finally. And let me tell you…this session was red H.O.T.!!!
Besides this session being a love letter to her hubby, it was also one for herself. She wanted to feel empowered and to embrace her body. Miss J was in a near-fatal head-on car collision and has had 12 surgeries in 9 years because of it. So she wanted to celebrate how thankful she is for her body and how it has endured with this boudoir experience. Wow! So powerful!
