This gorgeous lady had recently broken up with her boyfriend when she decided to reach out to me to do a boudoir shoot. She was excited about having an empowering experience after such a trying time in her life. She’s also an amazing dancer + educator that teaches her students all about embracing their bodies and using dance as a form of mental therapy, so with this boudoir session, she also had a curiosity as to what “bodily explorations” could happen through the experience.
And let me just tell you, it was an amazing experience for us both! I am always in heaven every time I get a dancer in front of my camera because they just move so effortlessly and with such grace and beauty. So while this was mostly a boudoir photoshoot, there were also some BoldHER portrait moments in her session as we celebrated movement + her dancing forms. And I am beyond STOKED with how her photos turned out! So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from her shoot!
PS, I’m super behind in blogging so this stunning babe actually did end up meeting a wonderful guy after this shoot and she’s now engaged to be married and I couldn’t be happier for her! Xx
